Yesterday evening, the famous rap sensation, Eminem, discovered a note, believed to be written by some his enemy, that stated the intention to kill the rapper's family.
Neighbours of Marshall Mathers told police they heard a loud bang shortly after 9 p.m. and then saw the fiery outline of a man running round Eminem's house.
The note, sticked on the door of the house, stated intention to kill all Mathers family and his reasons for doing so. A family members photos were also found with the note on the door.
Eminem told the police that in April 2002, police were contacted regarding threats and harassing phone calls allegedly made by the man, who was a Detroit postal worker.
The rapper's estranged wife Kim Mathers, who was living in the house with their children, had taken Hailie, 10, Alaina, 12 and Whitney, 3, to visit their father around 1 p.m. as she reported that she has some fear for her children's safety.
Investigation is in progress.
