Man I'm just trying to help cats out and I keep getting questioned?

I'm an A&R scout. I look for talent. If you want to send your demo to a major label for it to sit in a box, then do that. A&R's at labels don't listen to demos unless your referred by someone, usually a lawyer or manager (someone who they know brings them quality material) that refers an artist to them. I'm giving people the chance for someone connected in the business to actually listen to their music and give them feedback.

If your worried about someone stealing your music then that is your fault, I automatically expect that ANYONE that is sending me a demo that it is copyrighted since it is so easy to do these days. ANYONE can copyright their demo/songs by filling out a piece of paper and sending it with 35 bucks into the copyright office. If you haven't researched this, then it's your fault. I send out my brothers tracks to A&R's/Artists all the time, I dare them to steal a beat and make a hit, I'd actually prefer they do. Violating a copyright means a lawsuit which means instead of getting 5-10,000...you can sue for millions. To re-iterate, I am not looking to steal anyones music, that wouldn't benefit me.

What would benefit me is to find the next Jay-Z or 50. A song is a song, a career is a career.

My brother (AutoMattik) who's account this belongs to, produces for Big Rich and many other artists, but primarily Big Rich.
