Another thing I gotta say is that Bay Cats need to appreciate the south and the artists there who fuck with y'all. Many people up there seem to feel that the south is against them, and that they just wanna bite their style and not give em credit just as they see L.A. But righit now, that is definitely who y'all need to go through. Lil Jon is helpin out The Bay more than EVERYBODY in L.A., and damn near as much as many cats in the Bay. Think about it...he's easily a top 5 producer and character/face in the rap game, and he definitely doesn't need to help anyone else. But he puts Bay cats on major songs, and makes appearances with cats from the bay that would never get the same love from the likes of The Neptunes, Timbaland, Dre, or anybody in New York.
.

I heard you on that man... Bay cats can be some cynical ass people when it comes to the music man !

Talking all that ' Yo, they stealin' our stuff man...' or that ' Bay artists should only fuck w/ Bay artists'

But the truth is...when it comes to getting exposure in these other regions, we need all the help we can get, especially from artists who have already established a fanbase in that area.

Just my .02

Keep bangin' em out R-Tistic

I just think Bay Music has an extremely unique sound and you can't say any of those songs posted from TAMPA sound like bay shit... someone said the first one MAYBEEE

R-tistic said the first one sounds a Lot A LOT like superhyphy... he should notice the drums are closer to There It Go by Juelz Santana than ANY other song...

And the drum pattern is nothin like superhyphy...

I haven't heard a single song NOT from the bay that sounds its seriously bay

I think the songs have some similarites to our songs, but as a producer you can see the differences, I'm sure. From a regular listener, its how the song knocks, its different. But I see what you mean.

People from the bay (on Bart at least) have started acting like we reinvented the wheel. The music shit goes back and forth like ping pong. They send us some shit, and we send it back with a twist on it. It makes since for us to see similarites in the music.

THE BAY IS BOUGHT TO BLOW REGARDLESS OF ANYONES OPINION, WE BEEN KNOWIN THE TALENT AND ORIGINALITY WEVE HAVE, BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS FOR THE REST OF THE COUNTRY TO FIND OUT.

All I have to say is like mac dre said," im from the bay the new hip-hop mecca, they hate but imma stae it for the record" we got a gang of rappers that we all support to the fullest. but i believe why niggaz be defensive as fuck when it comes to our music is because of the mindset that we set in. when pac left the bay and went to LA it was all love because he never forgot about his niggaz so everyone was eating and shining, but when pac got killed i feel that snoop dogg and dr dre and all them cats took all that shit and ran with it not showing no love while we were still doing our thing. Then the media started saying the WEST was dead and all that bullshit but we were still dropping albums out here doing it big but they acted like the bay never existed. So when a bay nigga hears the west is dead he gets real offended, cause the bay been there and is still there. PLUS in a b-legit interview i read, b-legit talks about how he asked pac why he didn't like dr. dre and what the beef was about, and pac said the reason dre was a bitch and he stopped fucking with him is because dr. dre said that he doesn't like bay niggaz. Dre says that bay niggaz are just a bunch loud mouth niggaz. So pac felt offened, so yeah its all an internal mindset.

I know that the drum pattern is not the exact same, but it sounds similar as hell to me and almost everybody I know. And The Tampa song came out in 2003, so it definitely can't be a rip off to Juelz song, to whoever said that.

Most of what I said was from what I have seen personally and how I feel about it, so I don't see how you could say you do or don't agree with some of that. As far as me sayin it sounds like crunk and the way of life and all, I don't think everybody is readin what I say. When I say that it sounds like crunk, I am mainly speakin about the energy in the music, along with certain instruments, sounds, and drums. The tempo is the main difference between crunk n hyphy, and the song topics, slang, and all of the cultural differences are obvious. But for somebody who has never heard anything from the Hyphy movement, 5 times outta 10 they make a comparison to crunk music, and 9/10 dependin on what song it is. It just has the same energy, but a different vibe.

When I mentioned that y'all should have love for the south, I was mainly talkin to people in the Bay that don't. There are people who seem to knock songs and artists from the south just because they are from the south, and I feel that the south is more into Bay music than LA, the east, and the midwest. So it wasn't me tryin to call y'all out like "yall better respect them!!" but more of me sayin that they got more love for the bay then y'all might expect, and I am sayin that from what I see first hand.

Feed back should always be appreciated. Weather its good or bad you gotta peep the game from all perspectives. If you only see it from your way you aint gonna move ya shit. Good to hear some "real" feedback.

Nah don't get me wrong, I definitely appreciate feedback. I just want to get things clarified, because it seems like some of the feedback can be questionable at times, so I gotta make sure we're on the same page.
