There is a lot of footage from the Source awards last year where Diggs and Yuk talk to mainstream rappers. Most of them give it up to the Bay Area, and say that the Bay gets Hyphy. This was recorded WAAAAAY before Tell Me when To Go came out. This will let a lot of you 40 Haters now that a lot of people recognized Hyphy before 40 came out with it. This isn't a dig at 40 by no means, but maybe it will shut a few people up about 40 tryin to make the Hyphy Movement his. People knew about it before 40 came with it.

If they give it up to the bay and love the bay so much why is their rarely any bay collabs with mainstream rappers then.

And Im not talkin about E-40 & Too Short

They are mainstream artists who have other mainstream artists cashin em out for features. The majority of these Bay cats can't afford to break that kinda bread. Love or not, its still business.

but it would be smarter for the mainstream artist to fuck wit artist that's not well known cause they won't cost as much to get an underground cat wit heat to spit on they album.

WHO CARES???? REALLY DOES IT MATTER???? HYPHY FUKIN SUKS. EVEN IF MAC DRE CAME UP WITH IT. POINTLESS THREAD
IN the grand scheme of life, 99% of the shit posted on the internet is shit that doesn't matter. And no one is saying that Mac Dre started Hyphy, I am just tryin to shut a few people up. But, thanks for your opinion. If the thread is so worthless, why did you even respond?

and at the same time, people wouldn't pick up the album b/c they would think it has no good guest features.
