on some realistic shit id grab the first sharp weapon i could find, and if i could continue collecting anything sharp i would allong the way. a nail gun would be great but id take anything sharp before it gets wild and head to the plant section outside...probably roll a blunt and smoke and form allies and make a killing squad real quick...theres alot of big plants you can pick up and swing at people with or you can open up bags and make blockades with something sharp, the mass of the people picking stupid shit will kill themselves inside the body of the home depot and the smarter people will make the way outside... have the entrances into the plant area less accessable by putting shit in front of it and surround the intruders in some fashion.

no reason to get rambo with it.

I'd grab a flat head screwdriver. Then I'd run to the paint section and climb onto the 3rd or 4th shelf. Open cans of paint and dump it on whoever tries to come near me.
