A Day In The West was one that I think the source did with all West Coast artists.I've never seen the photo tho,that shit seems hella hard to find.

And is this Day In The Bay thing still alive? It would be tight if they all took a pic with the Bay bridge behind them since that shit aint gon be there for long,well at least not lookin the way it does now :(

I'm glad you brought this back up Dana because I've been thinking the same exact thing.

I actually e-mailed Brandon right after the BARS about reviving the "A Great Day In The Bay" idea, but didn't hear back from him yet. I know he's a busy man so I just shot him another e-mail this morning in case my last one got lost in the shuffle. Brandon is definitely one of the people who could get something of this magnitude organized and I'm sure countless people in the Bay Area industry are willing to assist and do whatever they can. I know you are.

We've got some momentum going in the Bay right now and it would be a nice move to show some unity and power by getting an event like this done.

For some reason, the "Great Day In Hip-Hop" pic from XXL is pretty much nonexistent online, but it was a beautiful thing and if I remember correctly it was shot in front of the same building as the picture above.

Shit, all I remember about BARS is your husband grilling me and you about our "friendship" and proudly proclaiming his Vallejoness. LOL

I'll give you a call either today or tomorrow and we can talk. As for the show I will not be there, but I am gonna run over to the Cutthoat in-store at Backdoor Disc prior to the show so I can give all those guys copies of the old issue of STRIVIN' with Dre on the cover. Will you be out there or are you just going to the show?
