So, it's looking more and more like John Cena is needing to turn heel. However, when you make a heel turn, you're kind of forced to change up your move set. Infact, the face is supposed to have a lacking move set. He's supposed to take a beating, then come back after being beaten to a pulp. It's what keeps the balance of heat between the two wrestlers. The heel gets to show dominance the entire match, but the face gets the win - securing his spot on top.

What they need to do, instead of turning John Cena heel, is keep him going at the rate he's going. He makes all of the face manuevers, wrestles the heels like HHH, Edge and so on, but also have the die hard faces like Flair and HBK chase after the belt too. Any given night you could have John Cena playing the same role he does now, but it's interchangable with a Face or Heel opponent. When he's against a heel, he may get booed, but ultimately the superior heel will prevail and get himself over as 'the badguy'. When he's against a Face, his opponent will be able to tease a finish that the crowd will get behind, only to have Cena pull out the win like he always does.

Having him take a stance as being there for the Chain Gain, but being like "Fuck the Haters" will keep him from losing out on Merchandise sales... the sales he would lose by ultimately turning heel. The kids get their winning champion, their spinner belt buckles and their cool T-Shirts. The 'Haters' get provoked while the 'heat' they throw at Cena is now being thrown back, yet still Cena playing the part of the face. He gets to play both sides, his character has been built as too powerful to be made into a jobbing/cheating heel. It will throw out all psychology that has been built up over the past years. Yet he gets to play to the 'Haters' as a legit heel.

His rapping is not horrible. He's got some killer beats and he actually rips some of them. The problem is, he's NOT a rapper. He's a wrestler. No matter how good he is, he's going to be written off as a novelty by most people who follow Hip-Hop for it's 'realness'. Now, as far as the wrestling goes, good or bad, that doesn't matter. He gets the job done as a spokesperson for WWE. He does it well. He deserves to be where he's at with the company.

Respond with your thoughts on the situation as it's really an interesting predicament.

Well, He was an heel already and was probably the most hated person when he was on Smackdown, I'm sure they can pull it off again, It'll probably be after they strip him of his title or pretty soon. If they do turn him heel, then he probably will change his manuvers and moves, expect for the F-U, but either way it's gonna happen one way or another.
