Funny how story"s get twisted down the pipeline...1 DJ ....1 DJ THAT WASNT EVEN AN ON-AIR PERSONALITY ..ACCEPTED PAYOLA FROM 1 ARTIST...AND THE ON AIR DJ'S GOT FIRED BECAUSE THEY REPORTED IT TO THE MANAGEMENT AND KNEW TOO MUCH! That's the same shit that Big Daddy (JQ) got fired for at Z90. Dude was taking big chippers for advertising, and got fired with a quickness. Gone overnight.

And, LMAO@ boycotting 98.9. What does that mean? Just not listening...I do that already. Guess I'm down with the cause by default.

Real question is...do you guys think this is something people should get fired for? Or, is this just part of the business?

clear channel owns like 95% of all radio stations.......one station plays young joc then 5 min later another station plays the same goddam song....the fcc aint gonna do jack shit about either this or payola

Z90 isnt even owned by Clear Channel anymore and hasnt been for a few months now. 98.9 going on Hip Hop and R and B format I dont think hurts anything only the fact that they will be playing a little more variety. Seems like Lil Uno's show is still on so the local cats still gonna get some radio play and we'll see what happens with the rest of the shows that come in. Sucks for some of the DJ's and on Air personalities. Some of them was cocky as hell though so its pretty much one of those situations where karma is a bitch. If they riders though they will find there way...Ive seen people in that industry come and go aint nothing new....Also Lil Al got a new local show on 90.3 hes playing joints from alot of cats in Diego if you got myspace you should give him a holler....
