Yup yup. But they don't get all crazy about that because it happens every year. I think if they wanted to control the world, they would put something out there like Ebola and wipe out big parts of countries.
I was just watching Dr. Oz, lol. He said with all these suspected cases in Mexico, and all these deaths...there hasn't been one death in the United States yet. Probably good that we have good medical care up here.

all the conspiracy theories aside, from a medical standpoint this shit is no joke..i'm an RN and trust me this has the hospitals shook..the swine flu is far more serious than bird flu, since it is easily transmitted from human to human..it is almost guaranteed that the cases in the U.S. will become far more serious and we will have people dying like they are in mexico..this shit just hit the U.S., it's thought to have been circulating in mexico for a few months, and thus the virus has gotten the chance to mutate and become more deadly..
Europe has already cautioned about travel to the U.S., let alone Mexico..the flu outbreak in 1918 killed 40 MILLION worldwide..in all honestly, i think this has the same potential, especially if the virus continues to mutate which will render drugs such as tamiflu ineffective..vaccines will take time to mass produce and won't due shit if this thing continually mutates..and in this global economy, we rely on other countries for medical equipment/supplies -- i'm sure every country will become very selfish in a time of crisis..
i know the SICC is full of comedians and conspiracy theorists -- which is fine, i find it hilarious..but definitely be cautious out there and protect your loved ones..it's affecting and killing healthy young adults, which is a big clue that this could be the big one..

1.This isnt 1918 we are way more medically advanced so you cant compare now to then, thats just stupid.
2.All 20 cases in the U.S report that they are doing very well and are expected to be ok.
3.Mexico healthcare system is alot different from ours and the people that died there from the swine flu most likely didnt get proper medical care.
4. The only way this could get ugly if there was mass out break and we couldnt provide or didnt have enough equipment to treat eveybody.
