8 Mile...

Anybody see 8 Mile? I went and saw it last night and I have to admit it was actually a pretty good movie. I was expecting a flop that was only going to make money cause women love Eminem, but Eminem actually did a pretty good job acting...though not an oscar worthy performance.

It was also funny as fuck. They had this one white dude who just acted a fool the whole movie. They also did a bunch of Juvenile shit, shit that 18 year olds would do, it kinda brought up the fact that Eminem was just like a lot of regular 18 year olds.

The best parts of the movie were most certainly the flow sessions. If you don't think Eminem has skills lyrically, you should peep the flows he wrote up for these battle contests. FUNNY as FUCK and incredibly creative.

Overall it was a worthy movie to see. Not any groundbreaking shit but certainly a good reflection of hip hop culture and music during the mid-1990's. I'd give it a 7.5/10.

yall are trippin that shit wasnt that tight. i thought it was gonna be about his rise to the top of the industry and shit, some behind the scenes shit....not some stupid ass hiphop battle shit in broken down clubs. if i wanna see a group of dudes ride around smokin weed and kickin it ill go out wit my fucken friends lol. eminem just makin that movie to try to prove to people that he really was poor as fuck and came up out the gutter. i had this black friend who raps, and he would talk shit about eminem like "that pussy cracker been havin money from the start" and shit like that, 8mile is a movie for people talkin like that.

i disagree, this movie was terrible.....dont get me wrong the battles are the nice scenes in the movie along with eminems mom getting tagged on the couch............but the movie prolonged and wasnt really saying nothing.........it was basically about some guy trying to find his inner self to get the NUTS to PERFORM! WOW...............never again will i believe the hype..............

but i loved them battles..................EMINEM should had made it about his life....it seems alot of people went and seen this movie thinking thats what it was about....i think it would had been much better!

and the acting sucked!

I personally thought the movie was off the hook...there was probably one slow part, but no biggie. Em got him some acting skills. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's better than Menace II Society though, LOL.

You have your terminology mixed up. Screeners are GREAT quality. The shitty quality one you have is probably the Cam released by FTF. Screeners are usually VHS quality or better.
