Wow I'm shocked that they have 8 man football anywhere near San Diego. I know even big cities have smaller schools, but the only places I've ever head of 8 man football are in extremely rural areas. I know it is huge in the Great Plains regions, especially in Kansas. In Washington we've got it, but only in the real rural areas.
The games are typically extremely high scoring. You'll get some crazy statistics, but rarely are players coming out of these leagues D-1 prospects. Josh Brown, the kicker for the Seattle Seahawks, played 8-man in the northeastern corner of Oklahoma and I believe scored 60 touchdowns as a WR his senior year.
