The problem with making it a double album is that they generally retail for $20-$25 instead of $10-$13, which would obviously hurt sales. Strange wants big numbers.

Incorrect. It counts as two for RIAA certification, but only as one for Soundscan. Asmo needs to post in here right quick assuming he's still got the sig I'm thinking of. I don't really want to have to go explaining this again.

EDIT: You have to look at it this way. The double disc with a higher price wouldn't turn away his core fanbase, but that ploy did him nothing on Killer. It's not as if it finally got him a gold record (and I would honestly expect Absolute Power to reach that before Killer, if any of his older albums do). However it would potentially turn away the most important buyer... the leary ones. The ones that may be newly introduced to him through the Lil Wayne shout outs or features, or everything else going on lately. Keeping it a single disc and having it on the shelves for a much lower price than a double disc would likely be increases the odds of snagging some new fans as they can justify spending $10 on a CD from an artist they're not entirely sold on much easier than $20 in today's time.

killer was 2 disc that i cut down to 1 disc of replayable material, right now after cutting the songs ill never listen to again on 6's and 7's
Intro
Technicians
military
we miss you man
I love music
call from richie
call from kc poet
overtime
pornographic
you owe like pookie
angry caller

thats all 6 skits (other then the intro are completely unneeded) and 5 tracks, and only leaving fuck food because of techs verse and the seven beat. Hopefully the bonus tracks will add a few more songs to my 6's and 7's playlist
