I think society is much different then when i was a kid...6years old and committing suicide, i cant believe it! Kids now a days are doing much more crazier things, i mean shyt 6year olds are given cell phones! Orgeon is a place where it rains a lot and its depressing...many suicides in orgeon. When i was 6 suicide never crossed my mind but if im clever enough to set up to tie my door shut at 6years old when im mad at my parents then yes she was smart enough to think about how to commit the act but never think about how it will effect her or how her parents wont be mad forever..as a kid i remember thinking my parents would hate me forever, so the full mentality is not really there to think how later things will be ok...this is so sad...

Well, we dont know, now do we? Maybe she saw it on TV or exhibited another person doing it. All we know is what the story tells us, that's it. We have no idea about the hundreds of other variables that aren't being told to us about her life, her parents life, her school life, etc.

You can disagree all you want, but humans not only learn through observation, we often mimic others as well...and most of the time we are unaware.

Look up Albert Bandura and the bobo doll for further evidence.
Very true. Modeling is a primary learning mechanism.
