35. Marvin Hagler
37. Thomas Hearns

Both need to be higher on the list and higher than Roberto Duran. Yes, Duran fought over 100 fights but Hagler/Hearns were better boxers than Duran.

47 Bernard Hopkins should trade spots with 39 Oscar de la hoya, or placed even higher. I mean come one, Hopkins didn't lose for 12 years and had 21 title defenses and unified the championship belts from all 4 major sanctioning bodies. He should be in the top 20, maybe even the top 10.

I think they just put Tyson on the list because he's popular, I'm not sure if he deserves to be on the list or not (I don't know a lot of the names).

I'd agree for the most part with the top 5 but I don't know about Willie Pep. Yeah, he had 230 wins but only 65 by KO, which seems pretty weird to me, seemed like something fishy was going on. I think he got #5 simply because of his impressive amount of fights.

Missing from the list:
Julian Jackson
James Toney
Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini
Floyd Patterson
Sonny Liston
Aaron Pryor

^floyd patterson definitly deserved to be on there and maybe boom boom but definitly not james toney haha, i think tyson should be top 30 atleast, youngest heavyweight ever, but i guess that doesnt matter since patterson wasnt even on the list. marciano should be way higher, top 5 easily, unbeaten and beat jersey joe, ezzard charles, arichie moore, savold, henry mathews, all the greats at that time

Yeah I don't think that list is in order. How can Roberto Duran be rated higher than Hagler, Hearns, and Leonard when they all beat him?

Although I am a bit biased because I am a Holyfield fan.. he should be rated higher as well.

mike tyson faded but his dominance early on in his career should have him no lower than top 20. youngest heavyweight champ ever. before he went to prison his average fight lasted what? 2 rounds?????? at best? wow what a cheap shot.

I cant believe tyson is 50!

I was watchin this documentary on him the other day. It was showin all his early fights.. like before he turned pro and his first few pro fights. lemme tell you, NO ONE is fuckin with 20 year old Mike. I dont give a fuck what anyone says.. Young Mike will beat the SHIT outta any of those fools listed above him. He knocked some dude out in 8 seconds in one of the fights. 8 seconds!!

I disagree with everyone saying Duran doesn't deserve to be that high on the list, most people know of him from later on in his career when he was fighting guys like Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, etc. which was out of his natural weight class and wasn't really his prime. Before all that he dominated the lightweight division and is widely considered the greatest lightweight of all time. He's a top 10 IMO. There is a few guys who spots could arguably be switched, and there are a handful of people left out but I agree with list to an extent.

You're not the only one, I had maybe 10 people over watching the fight and I sent most of them home broke that night...pure domination.

Look who helped compile the list, that's why Tyson is 50 lol.

Marciano at 14 is pretty dumb, top 5 easily.

edit- didnt go to the site first, thought Atlas was one of the guys who compiled it.

Now I know that no one's lists would be the same...

But I feel like B-Hop, Sweet Pea, and Floyd Jr have to be up a little higher in the list.

I know I wasn't even around to know of many of the fighters named, but its hard to believe that as good as these guys are/were, that there were that many people better than them.

Duran top 10, yes...5, no.

Hopkins is too low...should be higher.

No Floyd Patterson? Crime...

Glad to see both Barrera and Morales on there, and they are about in the right place.

Top 3 could be interchangable; no arguement from me.
