50 Cent, The Game and their respective camps have decided to lay their beef to rest and will make a formal announcement at a press conference today (March 9). This morning The Game called into Hot 97 with Angie Martinez to reveal the plans.

"It’s going to be a positive thing for both sides," said Game. “I think it’s so much bigger being that the date is March 9 [Biggie Smalls’ death date]. I’m def doing to do what I got to do...[to be] on a positive note.”

The two will hold the press conference today, coincidentally on the same day Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace was gunned down.

The dispute will be resolved at the Schomburg Center For Research in Black Culture in Harlem, New York at 2:00 pm.

50 Cent will also announce the launch a new foundation, the G-Unity Foundation, which 50 claims will "help people overcome obstacles and make a change for the better in their lives."

“I realized that if I’m going to be effective at that, I have to overcome some of my own," 50 Cent said in a statement today (March 9). Game and I need to set an example in the community.”

Both artists will make charitable donations to the Boys Choir of Harlem and the Compton Unified School District Music Program.

The combined donations are aimed at helping the The Harlem Boys Choir Academy reach their fundraising goal to receive a matching grant.

Slightly over a week ago, 50 Cent booted Game from his G-Unit camp and the ensuing friction resulted in a man affiliated with Game's Black Wall Street label getting shot outside of Hot 97's.

Since, 50 has relaxed his views and extended an olive branch to his former protégée.

Game said that the press conference was such a pressing matter than he was ushered to New York in a private jet.

“I see this as a real opportunity to show the power of our community," Game added. "50 and I are proving that real situations and real problems can be solved with real talk. This can also be seen as a big step for my organization, Black Wall Street, in terms of making a difference. Maybe we can help save some lives…the way rap music saved mine.”

In related news, 50 Cent’s album The Massacre is expected to take the #1 slot on Billboard's Top 200 album charts.

The album moved most 1,000,000 copies in the first four days of being released, thanks in part to the publicity the Queen's, New York rapper's album received due to the shooting.

I dont know what your talking about but right now 50 is on top of the rap game, hes pushing units that 90% of rappers can only dream about pushing. Dont get me wrong I dont think 50 is the greatest rapper but he is obviously doing something right. A student? Naw man, he knows his shit or else he wouldnt be on top right now. Hes a smart man, a true buisness man.

50 makes good songs, aint the greatest rapper though.I agree 50 is on top right now,He is pushing units I wish I had.....He is doing his thang right.....A student yes,he's approaching situations others in the game been experienced and how he handles it is what I question.I think the people in 50's ear are smarter than 50.Its 50 who starts beefs to end up passive........Its all the peoples in 50's ear that are all business....business is secondary for 50,his makin moves without thinking is what 50 does.......When he's done making a mess of things his team gets back in his ear and put him back on the right course.........its the experience he lacks and his young actin ways that make his career messy at times....hence the beefs........

will make a formal announcement at a press conference today
Am I the only one who found this odd? You don't hold a press conference to "squash beef". You hold a press conference when you buy a sports team or when you go to war, not when two fags squash their 3 day "beef".

you're trippin homie. Whether I'm alive or dead, I give a fuck what people have to say about me. I'm my own man & I don't depend on the opinions of others to get me by each day. What I do depend on is money, cuz w/out money u ain't shit. Bottom line. There's millions of muthafuckers out here that are siccer than most successful artists in the rap game. The only thing that seperates them is one's gettin' paid & the other isn't.....so I'll take not being the best as long as I'm paid. Just like Quik said, "I'd rather deal w/ the money, ya'll can have the fame" .....

& to say "he has his market on lock for quick money but where's the quality" who gives a fuck about the quality music he is making. It's good enough to sale 1 million copies it's first week...that ain't "quik money" in my book. he could retire right now & have enough to live on the rest of his, his kids, & grandkids life.....

now, did I buy the cd???Hell naw, I wouldn't waste my cash on that garbage....But You can't knock the dude for anything he is doing, cuz it's working.
