Yeah fuck the refs for getting the call right. screw getting together to make sure they all seen the same thing and again got the call right!

Dude seriously.
You didn't get the point of my comment, and I knew someone would have somethin smart to say, so let me break it down for the slow ones. I know it wasn't a fumble, and its nice they got the call right for a change, but the way it went down was faulty. There is no way in hell where the other referees were located at could have made the call. It was a real close call and it really did look like a fumble at first, and the only person with perfect view to the play was the referee that was standing right next to where the tackle was made. He was right there in their faces and he ruled it a fumble, and I don't blame him it was a close one. All I was trying to get at was the other referees in the stadium were no where close enough to the play to try and overturn the call of the other referee. Even so from a farther distance it would have looked more like a fumble anyway. So you know the other referees had been looking at the replay on JumboTron when they ain't suppose to do that. And to get that play overturned the Lions should have had to use a challenge, then I would have agreed with it. But the Lions didn't have any challenges left and the referees knew that, and the way they just reviewed it on the bigscreen and overturned the other referees call was shady. Yeah I know it was right, yeah I know we won anyway, I'm just saying the refs are always blatanly fuckin up and just start wingin their own rules as needed be. Probably not a big enough deal where I just wrote an essay on it but fuck it I got time right now.

Yet the further away refs got it right???????

There is a conference more than once EVERY FUCKING GAME to make sure they got the call right. That's not making up thier own rules.

It wasn't faulty, it wasn't the first time a ref was talked out of a call by thier coworker, and it wont be the last time.

Let me know when you watch a full football game and there ISN'T a conference...then you would know something faulty is going on.

The call was right, but the original call on the field was that it was Niners ball. Then they looked up at the Jumbotron, which is illegal, and changed the play.

Thats why it was a blown call.

It's never the "original call" until the next play starts, or it is said by the head ref over the stadium speakers and then challenged.

It was a blown call. End of story.

We won regardless, but the point is that it is illegal to see a replay of the play if it wasn't challenged first, and the play was not challenged, until after the call was made.

I guess my point is....was the call made by the ref over the loudspeakers saying fumble ball recovered by Niners?

If not then the call wasn't made. Maybe the intial call was ruled a fumble and then they grouped and got the call right, but then never ruled over the loudspeaker, therefore no blown call.

Now if they came out and the head ref said over the loudspeakrs that is was a fumble, then the other refs came and said uhhh no, then they reversed, then I would say blown call.

the stupid ref should have never signaled and said it was niners ball he should have said he was down by contact like they did when they got together. Then the niners could have challenged it if they felt it was a fumble

I see what you mean. No, it wasn't announced over the loud speaker...so I guess technically the call was never made.

But they really shouldn't have looked at the Jumbotron either...

All good tho...we won, so I can't really complain...
