they didnt do much, they signed 2 Patriot backup, injury prone DBs, Yea unfortunately Beasley didnt get along with RB coach Bishop Harris, I know we are all waiting for the day Barlow is cut, for those of you who arent fimiliar with LArry Allen read this:

A 12-year veteran, Allen is one of the best ever to play his position. Due to his age, he is not the player he once was, but he is still a quality NFL starter and in the top quarter of OG's in the league. He has excellent size, bulk and strength for the position, and he still shows the ability to get movement one-on-one in the run game. He also possesses very good initial quickness and takes excellent angles in run blocking. He is not as quick getting to the second level, and blockers can beat him to spots at times. When he gets his hands on you, though, it's over. He can take linebackers and drive them out of the hole. He still keeps excellent position in pass protection. He has lost some range, but he keeps excellent position and still shows a solid two-arm extension. He is close to the end, but he could catch on as a one-year guy for a team that needs an starting OG to make a Super Bowl run. His body may start to break down, and he is not as well conditioned as he was earlier in his career.

It seems to me as if the 49ers are getting better, while the Raiders get worse.
getting worse???? Hah.. Care to explain how cutting Collins and getting Brooks ( Brooks = better than Collins ), dumping Norv Turner ( horrible coach ) & getting Shell ( successful HC during his last time ) is getting worse??????? I fail to see how the Raiders are getting worse,, But thanks for your thoughts I guess:dead: And also to add,, How have the 49ers got better? I'm not too sure on all the niners have done so far this offseason but from what I do know is that: 1. they lost a very good LB in Peterson, 2. Lost a good player in Beasley, 3. Lost Lloyd ( many niner fans I know where high on this kid ), 4. Signed Antonio Bryant, 5. Signed aging vet. in Allen...... Hows that make them better than they where?

Art Shell = last minute replacement, Brooks = last minute replacement,
Norv Turner = highly successful OC, its been what 10 years since Art Shell has even had a job? 1. You can argue that Peterson will not achieve full status again and was wayy overpaid, 2. Beasley made it known since last year he didnt want to play under Bishop Harris, 3. Lost the WR equivalent of Kevan Barlow who acts like TO - the talent4. Antonio was a 1000 yard WR last year on a shitty CLE team 5. I bet if raiders signed Larry Allen it would be a great move, he can still play on a good level. On the other hand lets flip this on Oak on y they are getting worse 1. Lost all their CBs 2. Released players to get under cap 3. no cap money to sign top FAs 4. Collins = brooks, To be honest id take collins over brooks in the raiders passing offense 5. Had to go with the last resort for head coach, im also refering to their records from tghe past 2 years, Raiders going from what 7-9? to 4-12, niners from 2-14 to 4-12

Shell may have been last minutes in terms of signing wise, But the Raiders stayed in touch with him until they finished interviewing Wisenhunt... Brooks last minute replacement? Umm he wasn't released by the Saints until they signed Brees and is a vet that we need on our squad.. Your funny if you'd rather have Collins over Brooks.... And how did we lose our CBs??? We are letting C. Wood walk which is a good thing, C. Wood just can't stay healthy anymore and we have Asomngua & Washington who did a nice job with C. Wood out last season, So I don't see how we lost our CBs when our starters last yr where Aso & Washington ( both still here ) once Woodson went down..... And we didn't release any KEY players, The only player that I would have still like to have kept is prob. NT Ted Washington & maybe Reynaldo Hill, But then again Washington prob only as 1 yr left in him......And why are you saying we don't have cap money? Yeah I guess you are just used to hearing a big name FA becoming a Raider every year

According to who? Collins is a better pure QB than Brooks has ever been. The only thing Brooks is better at is running from potential tacklers. Other than that, Collins = far better than Brooks. Brooks was the worst off-season move the Raiders have made thus far.

I agree with this. Norv Turner is a terrible HEAD coach because he has no authority.

Yeah, LAST time. He's older now and has been out of the coaching scene for a while. The way the game is played has changed in the past 10 years.

1. Peterson is injury prone and was no more than decent last year. Losing him makes them no worse.

2. Beasley rode the bench toward the end. Losing someone who doesn't play won't make you worse.

3. I believe losing Lloyd did make them worse, until....

4. Antonio Bryant is way better than Lloyd, or any WR on their roster. That makes them better.

5. Larry Allen is still a good lineman. That gives the Niners 3 GOOD lineman and 2 up and coming prospects, as opposed to last year where Newberry was the only good lineman active (but still injured) and those 2 prospects were rookies. If you fail to see how the Niners are getting better, then you don't know shit about football.

As for the Raiders getting worse.... How many starters did they have to release to get under the cap? And the last I heard they barely got under in time to start Free Agency, then they signed Brooks so where exactly are these "millions" coming from? I know the Niners are still under the cap and have a lot of room to sign more talent. So yes, the Niners are getting better and the Raiders don't seem to be doing the same.

The only starters we released where: Collins ( GREAT, SUPER, FANTASTIC MOVE ), Ted Washington ( we will miss his presence in the middle, but he's prob @ his last yr and we have young players ready to fill in ), Ron Stone ( nothing left in the tank, often injured so hardly got the start but I'll count him in as starter anyway ) So really we didn't really lose any KEY starters.. So I think your exaggerating a bit

You lost no KEY starters, but who have they picked up to fill those voids? Obviously their backups are not as good, and that means they got worse. Do you see how that works?

Oh and Brooks is no better than Collins. You're only fooling youself if you believe otherwise.

Brooks > Collins.. If you'd rather have a Collins on your ball club than your just uhhhhhhhhhhh:dead: All I gotta say is just watch & see.. You can bring up videos, stats, whatever.. But you won't get to see the truth until it happens, And Brooks is a much better fit than Collins was

And as for the other guys they are most defenitely replaceable

I'm sure they are replaceable, but the Raiders have made no moves!! So they're worse off as of right now.

And Brooks a better fit than Collins? In Oakland? Do you even watch your own games? (oh wait I forgot, you can't because they aren't televised, LMAO) Or do you just not see what kind of Offense your team runs?

We have depth for the dline, Only thing that has me worried is the oline

And as for Collins, He had his 2 yrs..... Obviously he couldn't do things when he didn't have perfect timing.. Brooks is more mobile and can get the ball deep.... If you where a Raider fan you'd agree that Brooks would fit better than Collins, Hell you still should be able to see that but you are just a hater from the other side of the Bay so its obvious you need to hate about something

So then how will Aaron Brooks be better? his current stats were in NO and behind a good O line with good targets and a good coach.

Look dog, I am one of the most Raider-accepting 49er fans you will ever come across. My whole family is full of raider fans. I don't hate them and I don't hate on them. If they have good players, I will let it be known, but when they make mistakes like signing Brooks I will also let that shit be known. Of course you're gonna try to make it look like I'm just hating on them because I'm a Niner fan, but read and try to comprehend what I'm saying. I have facts that back what I'm saying and if you don't see that then it must be your own hatred that blinds you.

Brooks' mobility alone is a improvement over Collins, By him being mobile he won't be getting sacked as much and Dlineman won't be able to get to him as easily as they where able to get to Collins.... And here in Oakland Brooks will have better targets than he did in NO

First off im a Niners fan and i hate the raiders but Aaron Brooks is a big improvemnt from Collins. Brooks brings way more to the table, and I think his style will match up real well with Moss. Second, Beasley goin to a different team is no big suprise. They were talkin bout that shit during last season when he was benched for damn near the whole year. I might be wrong but i think he didn't get along with Nolan. Last I think the signing of Larry Allen was a great addition. We got a pretty beefy O-line if we can stay healthy. We got Jonas Jennings, Jeremey Newberry, Larry Allen, Eric Heitman. Then we got the youngsters that were makin it happen last year Adam Snyder and David Baas. I think we might suprise a lot of fooz this year.
