The Niners need to beef up the secondary & get their hands on a proven play-making linebacker, and start calling better passing plays on offense. The run plays are not great plays either but Gore makes them work. On top of all that, Nolan needs to stop "playing it safe." That shit backfires half the fuckin time, especially on the fuckin ROAD.

With all that said, it is great to see the 49ers being competitve, even on the road. Give the team one more year before we start to get real critical on them. I think everyone on the niners(esp. Nolan) are taking this year as a learning experience.

I dunno, 49ers defense lost the game for them.
Nah they did a decent job except against the run in the first half. They fixed that in the 2nd and they should have won this game. They would have won this fuckin game if the play-calling was legit and the ref in the replay booth wasn't a complete moron.

Yeah and the fuckin Rams are one of those teams that we shouldn't have had to "watch out for." That should tell you something.

When it comes down to it, Nolan needs to make better calls and stop being such a pussy. Otherwise we aint gonna win SHIT. As soon as we get the lead he starts to play it safe and that allows every fuckin team to get close to us. He needs to keep being aggressive so we can start putting teams out of reach.

AND ON A SIDE NOTE IM SICK OF AFTER EVERY GAME NOLAN SAYIN HE WOULDN'T HAVE CHANGED WHAT HE DID, AND HE WOULD DO IT OVER IF HE COULD. HE'S FULL OF SHIT CUZE EARLIER IN THE SEASON WHEN THE CROWD BOOED HIM AND EVERYONE CRITICIZED HIM FOR KNEELING DOWN WITH LIKE A MINUTE LEFT IN THE 1ST HALF THEN THE NEXT GAME THERE WAS LIKE 30 SECONDS LEFT IN THE HALF AND HE ALL STARTED PANICKING AND CALLED A TIME OUT LIKE HE WAS GONNA DO SOMETHING, THEN HE RAN THE BALL AGAIN MADE NO FUCKIN SENSE. I LIKE NOLAN A LOT, BUT HE DOES MAKES SOME BONE HEAD PUSSY CALLS. I COULD SEE IF WE WERE A SURE FIRE PLAY OFF TEAM THIS YEAR, BUT WE ARE YOUNG AND UN EXPERIENCED AND WE NEED TO TAKE SOME RISKS TO WIN, WE ARE IN NO POSITION TO BE "PLAYING IT SAFE." WE NEED TO START TAKING SOME BETTER RISKS IF WE WANT TO WIN. AND I DON'T MEAN LIKE THE DUMB ASS RISKS HE PULLED AGAINST THE RAIDERS WHERE HE WENT FOR 4TH AND 1 TWICE AND GOT STUFFED. MAYBE ONCE BUT THE SECOND TIME SHOULDA BEEN A FIELD GOAL. OK IM DONE NOW DIE.

so damn true but they should've still tried, or they need to run bootlegs cuz Denver has success doin that shit every week. Plus Nolan fucked up again on 4th and inches cuz last week against Seattle same scenario at the end of the 1st half. They should've went for it, it would've crushed the other teams hope to make a comeback.

Nolan shows too much confidence in his inexperienced players when he tries to "play it safe." They're too young to be doing that shit. A veteran team would probably hold when he plays it safe, but not this squad, not yet. I do believe he is a great Head Coach so far but he needs to step back and really look at what he's working with, which isn't too much. The defense is makeshift, he didn't pick up any impact players on defense after losing the biggest one they had the year before. Manny Lawson will be that impact player one day, but right now he's still learning. He needs to realize the team is too young to be playing the type of football he wants to play right now. A few years down the road, games like today's would work out. But that's down the road, not here.
