LA isn't supposed to even be considered to have a team until 2009 or 2010, according to an issue of Sports Ill I read months ago.
Anaheim gets offered every year, but the NFL only wants to pay 1 cent a year (literally) for the land at the currently being developed "Platinum Traingle" and Anahiem turns it down every year.

Mayor Newsome needs to make something happen, this would be a huge tragedy. Fuck it man, let them build that 'Village' they were talking about @ The Point.
How can they have the motto 'FAITHFUL' and not be faithful to their city, or the fans in their city, that have been with them faithfully for decades, through one of the greatest runs in professional sports, in the 80's...

I know its Santa Clara, I've had my fair share of trips out there to Great America, and the Mercado...lol...and the runs back in the day...
But yeah, traffic on 101 is already bad, this would just make it worse. And the proposed site is actually in the parking lot of Great America...
That sucks...because theres only really one way on and off the 101 freeway...so that would be garbo...
this is what I hate about 9er fans.....the raiders threaten to move and its "look your team is leaving you", the 9ers are leaving and "its not gonna happen" you people know where the NEW YORK giants and the NEW YORK jets play, right? alot of teams don't play in their designated city. (or state in NY's case) I don't know about the 9ers, but I believe socal will get an expansion team soon. but then again, mexico wants one, and that would be alot more money for the nfl.....but that would never happen
