If Pac were alive most rappers in general would not be rapping. If he was alive the caliber of music would be so great that all this bullshit we're are FORCED to listen to would have never surfaced. His death and Biggies paved the way for all this bullshit passed off as music. And Pac would not have done music with anyone that wasn't solid, no matter how popular in the mainstream!

I hear people say that a lot when it comes to this subject, but Death Row Records was the label that crossed over underground into the mainstream.

AND YOUR COMMENT ABOUT......

And Pac would not have done music with anyone that wasn't solid, no matter how popular in the mainstream!
C'mon Mayne! If you compare 2Pac's previous releases to the "All Eyes On Me" album. It was watered down and not the same 2Pac heard on "Me Against The World" album. Now, he was talking about crystal and his 500 Benz etc etc......I'm in no way saying the album sucked, hell naw, BUT! It was mainstream and watered down compare to the 2Pac I was used to listening to.

We will never know the answer, but had Biggie and 2Pac lived they more than likely not have been placed in such a high standard in Hip Hop. Had they lived, we more than likely would have seen them fall off, or put out a trash album like most artist have and fade away to the next hottest act coming out. Better yet, they'd probably have a reality show, or be the next contestant on Dancing With The Stars. Or, people would have found a flaw in something they said, or did and labeled them pieces of shit / snitches and boycott their product.

It's the American way. Look back at Micheal Jackson, 50 Cent, Master P, MC Hammer etc etc..we build them up high and tear them down in pieces.

Had Snoop Dogg died after releasing Doggystyle, he would have gone down as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

The fact that these two artist are held in such a high standard is due to the fact that they just happened to die in their prime.

Just let it go already.

THAT IS MY OPINION. YOU HAVEN'T PROVEN ME WRONG. YOU MERELY STATED YOUR OPINION. I'M FROM A DIFFERENT ERA. AND IN MY OPINION "ALL EYEZ ON ME" WAS A BETTER ALBUM THAN "ME AGAINST THE WORLD". THOUGH I LIKE SNOOP, HE DOES NOT COMPARE. NOR DOES MASTER P AND HAMMER? SNOOP WOULD NOT HAVE GONE DOWN AS THE BEST RAPPER IN HISTORY? IM NOT REALLY QUITE SURE WHAT POINT YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE. A LOT OF RAPPERS ARE KILLED. I DONT BELIEVE IT TO BE COINCIDENTAL THAT THOSE TWO ARE STILL HELD IN SUCH HIGH REGARD.

Personally, I think Pac would probably gell with Ja and Em the most. They both have the similar personalities as Pac and are Just as hard working in the booth.
