My name is YUKMOUTH..I started rappin in a group called the LUNIZ & then when solo got a deal on RAP A LOT RECORDS..Now I'm signed to my own label SMOKE A LOT RECORDS & I'm headed to the TOP!!
#3 How have You welcomed the challenge to stay fresh In HipHop?
It's not a challenge to me because I stay fresh to def..I'm one of the BEST CALI trend setters..Ask about me..Far as music goes..You gotta reinvent yourself every album..Gotta keep up with da Jones..ha!
#4 How do you feel about the current creativity level in HipHop right now?
HipHop is WACK AS SHIT right now!!!! I'm not feelin nobody but a couple artists..I used to like all hip hop..Now it's just certain artists who get my respect.
#5 What Is Your Mindstate Like Now When You Make the type of Music your making?
CRIMINAL MIND STATE...LOL...Naw I just really do me..talk about my life experiences & what's goin on around me..So I'm the voice of THE STREETS!
#6 I know a lot of people say that music is supposed to be entertaining & they don't have to talk about what's goin on will you on your album?
All my albums talk about what's goin on..My new album just dropped, "THE WEST COAST DON", and it has a lot of stories on there about what's going on in the WEST COAST..So it's nothin new for me..I've been tellin HOOD STORIES about my life & my hood..It's all natural for me.
#7 Can you tell us sum details about your album.Like some of the producers you worked with and some of the content?
Well on dis album I got a lot of up and comin producers..I got P-KILLER TRACKS from ruff ryders,I got SLAPP BOYZ/NEXXUS/SCOPE DEZEL/NAN DOGG/KNOTCH/ARSON & HARD KNOCK/S-CLASS/RAW BEATS...far as features I got RAY-J/CROOKED-I/KEAK DA SNEAK/MISTAH FAB/TURF TALK/C-BO/GLASSES MALONE/THA JACKA/MAC DRE/DRU DOWN/BABY BASH & THE REGIME..So the album is fire!
#8 What's some Of the things that Influence You to write & to make Music?
My life & my neighborhood influence me to write....I've been thru so much shit in my life that I gotta write about it..Rap is like my verbal diary..So I only rap about whats real,no fake shit!
#9 What Are your Musical Influences? Why?
Mainly the old school rap from the late 80's..like NWA/GETO BOYS/SCARFACE/ICE CUBE/KRS-1/KOOL G RAP..etc..WHY?? Because I wanted to be a RAPPER like them with all the MONEY/DIAMONDS/CARS/CLOTHES & HOES!!LOL

Get ya team right (management/lawyer & label), then grind hard & grind HARDER!! You don't GRIND, You don't SHINE..

Yeah..I think I'm the coolest guy in hip hop..I fuck with my fans real tough..Without them I'm nothin..So I always show & give love back to the fans!
