Wow I guess I feel a certain Responsibiity to respond to This Post.
First Tay, & Brandon both are my homies and i never got in the middle of their situation, Brandon did alot on helping me launch Done Deal and I appreciate everything He did, was a happy the whole time i was on bayside? NO! Do I blame Brandon? NO! I felt like Brandon had too much on his shoulders, I felt and still feel for Bayside to have all that money they are some Cheap muthafuckas that dont give a Fuck about The"URBAN" Dept, and lets just face it Urban is another word for Minority! When i say cheap I mean How the Fuck are Brandon, Rob & Mike Cleveland gunna deal with all those Fuckin Labels No way and thats why shit got bad with the finger pointing. The "Urban" Dept was and pretty much still is Street Mutha Fuckas who are not used to their money coming back in 3-6months instead of right back, cats dont know about returns, shipped returns unshipped returns and all that, which can very much be the biggest Gaffle in all of distribution, look at it this way Does it make more sense for your distributer to press 5k cds for less than 5G's and charge you 35k in unshipped returns in your billing as product that sits in the wherehouse? Cmon why wouldnt you if you had atleast one crooked bone in your body? I have never seen one penny from Bayside (other than an advance) in almost 3 years dealing with Bayside and thats Bullshit but its another story. I dont blame none of that on Brandon, shit if anything i blame my relationship with him for not getting shit done i drive up there and we would talk about frisco street drama other than Music Business!
As For Tay Thats My nigga, We been cool ever since we met Fully Loaded put me up on Tay and I went and Broke Bread with him to get down with them shit he was Hot in the streets and they wanted him on their shit Done Deal! We been tight ever since matter of fact after that Tay was on my first four releases. We both have tried to come together and unite everyone but basically it doesnt work, too many Chiefs not enough Indians! Nobody wants to feel like someone has more power or something, shit is all silly, everyone wants their way or no way or everyone sees a different path to reach the same vision, like me and Guce we have been working hard trying to figure out away to bring our shit together im not sure if or how that is gunna work, it has to be trust and it has to be loyalty 2 things The Bay dont have with one another its Cutthroat out here.
