106 kmel summer block party

lyfe jennings, another r&b type fella. i'm sure you've heard of 'must be nice' on the radio like last year (check out the nas remix), and he has 'hypothetically' on the radio once in awhile now too.
and wtff yeah i keep hearing these commerials on kmel and i keep thinking 'WHERES SUMMER JAM' and also 'what's up with the r&b line-up'... not hatin on those r&b artists though. it's a good r&b line-up, damn near all of them are famous and GOOD. seems like more of a concert you go to with yo special someone, not one where you get hyphyhyphyhyphy

Blame yourselves for no Summer Jam...I was there in the front last year when all of those fights broke out and a BUSINESS minded person would try to seperate from what ever caused so much bullshit. And when did it start? During the Hyphy section of the concert. The shit was going cool, everybody was having a good SAFE time, just listening to music, blowin on trees and enjoying the whole scence, but that shit changed. Actually the Summer Block Party has a good R&B line-up, but it's a shame that the rap can't be incorporated do to what happend last year. I mean really, you think that as much effort that has been put into promoting the Bay Rap scence by KMEL that they don't want to have Bay artist on the bill? The problem is that out here police coming out, hella fights and a sideshow = a hyphy good time, BUT that is not a sucessful formula on a business end.
