Okay Im bored and cant sleep and this crossed my mind, so i wrote it out, feel free to give insight and opinions... Try to keep this shit talking free, and provide comments that mean something...

INSIGHT/OPINONS FROM OTHER TEAMS FANS IS WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED

1. Nolan keep his job, hes not as bad as everybody makes him out to be

2. Overhaul of coaching staff besides Manusky and Everett, The D and ST are the only bright spots for the team.....

3. Its somewhat obvious BY is going to retire, so why not bring him back to coach the D Line? I think this would be a great move....

4. Bring in some good Free Agents, I would be happy with Briggs and Berrian alone, but Faneca to replace LA would be a great thing.....

5. Get a experienced OC. IMO this seasons failures were due to Norv dipping late, and not allowing us to get a OC we desired, and having to hire in house candidates. (We were not granted permission to interview candidates such as Ken Zampese....)

6. Get Nolan/Alex Smith/OC on same page, yes I believe Alex Smith deserves 1 last chance to prove himself while healthy.....

7 Get rid of underachieving players such as Derek Smith and Darrel Jackson, these guys are past their primes and holding the younger guys back and preventing their growth...

8 Get a GM, this is 1 of the best ideas and its not credited to John York, but Denise Debartalo-York, but obviously, Nolan signing all these Nolan Guys and bypassing talent for it has held the team back, Getting Djack instead of Moss because of character issues still urks me.

9 Sign a Veteran QB to compete with Alex Smith, and let the winner start, When Alex Smith was drafted, he was beaten out by Tim Rattay in camp, let this years camp be an all out competition, dont just give the highest contract guy take the job, give it to the best performer.

10. Try and Pull some 49er greats into coaching, Steve Young as QB coach? farfetched, but imagine... Jerry Rice as WR Coach.... and if we could get LA as Oline Coach/assistant would be great ideas, Ronnie Lott/Eric Wright/Tim Mcdonald/Merton Hanks as DBacks coach.....

any others?
Scary?
S1?
Defy?
Argentin3?
CZar?
eh....I've got nothing except stop sucking

y'all need a good WR and a better o-line, that way you can see if alex smith is your franchise qb or what....I'd say look for a free agent qb to compete with smith for the job

i mean if you look at last year, y'all had a chance to win the division, and this year y'all had hella injuries, so if y'all can get a few more pieces and stay healthy you got a great chance in your division.....

Good shit, im not expecting to hear a buncha postive shit, i wanna hear what people truely think,

I agree with you though defy, I think next year, when we are healthy on D, we will be a force to be reckoned with, We already have a decent Run stopping group, if we get pass rushers, then itll show on Passing as well...

Agreed, and with a good Pass rushing DE, thatll allow TBC to get a better rush on the QB as well....

Although I do believe Nolan wil;l be around next season, it'll be a mistake. Nolan has already proven he has poor game-management skills and he's already lost the locker room and the confidence of his players.

Agreed.

Maybe, maybe not. BY is a good lineman, but that doesn't necessarily mean he will be a good coach.

Yes sir.

Very true, but Nolan should have tried out somebody else, like Jerry Sullivan, when Jim Hostler proved he is a piece of garbage and has no business calling plays. Something could have been done, but nothing was, which leads me back to my reasoning for disagreeing with your number 1 key up there.

I'd like to see Alex do well, but I don't think he will. We need to look for a new QB. Bring in a free agent or trade for somebody.

For sure.

This is the #1 key to success in my opinion.

I agree.

But let's be honest here.. If we get a decent veteran QB, he's going to beat Alex out in camp.

A lot of those guys want nothing to do with the Yorks..

Great points so far except for the bad jokes. Realignment my ass. That's like saying we should separate the whole AFC/NFC conferences since the NFC still can't beat the AFC in superbowls.

In my opinion y'all should fire Mike Nolan to start off. He's a nice guy but he's had 3 years to do this thing. He's responsible for drafting Alex Smith so he should have hired some coaches to fix his flaws if they're fixable.

Personnel wise I think the Niners are cool but they could use a big play receiver. I just think the Niners need a new head coach. They have pretty good safeties, cornerbacks, linebackers, and D-linemen. I don't even think Bryant Young needs to retire because he still got it in him.
