It's going to be a sad day when Kob' retires...I know that much. I understand why a lot of people hate him...but you have to respect him...like that jeanie buss tweet I posted...first one in the gym...last to leave...

What separated kobe from all the people that he has been compared to over the years...

I remember Allen Iverson in that 'practice' rant during a press conference..

'We talkin about PRACTICE!?" yeah motherfucker we are...its why you're ass is getting your house foreclosed on and you're not in the league anymore, and Kobe is hanging with all the young bucks competing for his 6th ring, competing at a high level and still arguably the best in the game.

Question for yall Laker fans...

I know it's going to happen....but how do yall feel about Shaq getting his number/jersey retired as a Laker? I'm not sure how good I feel about it, given the way he left and his piggy backing on the Celtics, of all teams, to try and get another title.

I don't think they should retire his jersey as a Laker. Upon his departure from the Lakers organization, he was talkin real reckless about LA. Even though he was at the greatest in his career in LA, still he talk too much shit about the CITY, and the TEAM that made him.

We should be more concerned on how fast Kobe will be getting his statue outside the Staples Center...

Kobe and the Lakers owe Shaq big time.

The least the Lakers would do for all those championships that Shaq won for them, is to retire his number.

Kobe career wouldnt be what is it today without the help of Shaq. Without Shaq, no rings for Kobe until '08-'09 season.

shaq sold out! talked hella shit too! with that said he deserves to get his jersey retired. him and kobe brought back the lakers to the center stage. imo thats the best duo ive ever seen in my life. could nobody fuck with kobe and shaq, and i mean nobody!

Really dissapointed, we should have had this game. The 3rd quarter...up by 6...we have like 4 or 5 straight turnovers. Not forced by the Defense, but just stupid ass plays and passes that shouldn't have been made.
