1 vs 100 game show coming to Xbox Live Primetime

The recently rumored game show channel for Xbox Live was officially announced at this morning's Microsoft press conference in the form of "Xbox Live Primetime." TV producer Endemol has teamed up with Microsoft to produce the new massively-multiplayer game show channel, which will include a version of the semi-popular NBC show 1 vs. 100, complete with real prizes (no word on whether host Bob Saget is involved). Primetime is part of Microsoft's new "Live Party" community channel, which includes the long-rumored Avatars. No word on what, if any, other game shows will be coming to Primetime, but we're hoping for a version of Ninja Warrior that involves rampant button mashing.

I heard you win real prizes and shit if you win, this is the future shits gonna take off IMO, there are so many people that don't game but fuck with shit like this.

I'm guessing they pick u up from the lobby to be in the game show, first come first serve.

if you read the new OXM there is an article about it. i forgot how they said they would choose people but it said that youd have the contestant and then the "mob" of 100 included in the game, but thousands of people could tune in to watch it still and the prizes were microsoft points from what i remember reading

My and my buddy played from the time it started til the time it ended. We were always part of the crowd, never the One or the Mob. It was fun as fuck though. I'm pissed I'm gonna miss it on Saturday cuz I have work. They're having a special E3 edition of it, where they're asking questions all about E3.
