From a professional standpoint and a marketing perspective, this "onesheet" does very little to display you as an artist, in fact the lack of quality writing really shows the lack of effort into making your product the best it can be. The numerous errors and nonsensical sentences really makes you look like an amateur that doesnt take his career seriously...Im not sayin thats what you are (calm down now killa)..im sayin...If you want to impress folks enough to have them seek out your product, then you have to present yourself in a quality fashion. Your "bio" seems like it was written by a drunk 15 year old and I doubt that any record store buyer would take it seriously no matter how many improtant names you drop in connection with you album...

im sure ive lost your attention and already been called a hater for speaking my opinion, but i thought i would just offer some advice. Have a professional writer handle these for you, or at least someone that has a good grasp on the english language,spelling, grammar, and punctuation...

If i were you Sleep i would scrap that entire design and re-do it, HJell homie, that thing is so bad I'll even offer to write it for you cause i cant let you go out like that....You can claim to be a king of your city and have a onesheet that looks like that dude...plus you reppin the bay and that type shit makes the bay look bad, You cant just slap together some words and pictures and call it a one sheet...the number of spelling mistakes alone will cause this one sheet to get laughed right into the trash heap...and its not like you used any really big words either man....seriously sleep, dont go out like that man...tell ya fans NOT to distribute that version and get it redone ASAP


theres an art to it man....and just like I cant just pick up a pen and hit the booth and drop a tight album....you cant just have someone write a bio that has never done it before and cannot clearly convey the message you are trying to...


think about it man.....im only being real. Show that One sheet to some folks and ask for some honest feedback...and i dont mean Habib at the liquor store and black ass mike from down the way....ask someone with intelligence, someone whos opinion you value...

@sleep... They not haten on u B... I think they jus sayn an artist of ur caliber that's been n the game would have a 1sheet more reflective of somethin a little more professional lookin... I seen the work MadePro did for u n it was alot cleaner lookin.. The Siccness is a tough crowd... N they gonna keep it real.. In my own situation I learnd alot from the comments I got when damn near the whole board went in on me... My point is... Criticism n the end if u listen makes u stronger n have a better product

Yeah, the fools on here try to do too much most of the time when it comes to "helping" artists. Some people are genuinely interested in "helping" but most of them don't dig the music, won't ever buy the product, and just give their condescending two cents in order to try to put themselves over.

I have been witness to some horrible art, horrible promo, horribly written press, etc. and while I do agree that keeping everything professional can help an artist, if the music is good and the promo is respectable then the artist is not going to be hurt. Sleepdank knows his audience, knows who he is trying to appeal to, and knows what he's trying to do with it. At the end of the day a few typos on a press release are not going to be the difference makers for him.

I mean you could be the most professional fool out there and if your music don't bump I'm not going to support no matter what.

Thing is though, as many Mac Dre and bay fans on bart, there's a ton more people who aren't on Siccness than those that are. Out of the 50 or so people who post regularly, half are in the biz themselves, so it's not like the rest are the core of his audience.
