07 draft=year of the saftey

i know adrian peterson and patrick willis were the ROY in there rookie seasons and well deserved but i think that the 07 draft was the year to pick up a safty in the first round.....all of em tooken have had good to great seasons in there rookie year....

Mike Griffin (titans)...54 tackles...int in 3 straight games...FF on a badass hit...
Reggie Nelson (jags)... 63 tackles...5 ints...FF
Brandon Merriweather (pats)...(very mininum playin time i think) 27 takles FF
Laron Landry (skins)...95 tackles...1.5 sacks....two ints in the playoffs


Grffin came in and fish tryed to convert him to CB...at the beginning of the year he switched him back and he rode the bench for more then a few weeks......he came in and made an instant impact...he could be the hardest hitter in the draft and his ball hawking skills are pretty good and he is gifted in speed.....he also did DECNT in return skills mostly KR.....i havnt seen every game of the players starts but i think he could be the best outta the group...

Brandon Merriweather (pats)...(very mininum playin time i think) 27 takles

yeah we never played him and everytime he was in he was a part of the play every fuckin time. all he needs to do is learn how to intercept a fuckin ball lol. he had 4 into's in his hands and he dropped it and they were easy picks. then he had another pick in the jags game that he drpped so once he steps that shit up he will most likely be a force to reckon with. and he's a beast like ed reed on special teams as well.

i wish the cowboys picked up reggie nelson instead of picking up anthony spencer...

check brandon meriweather in the sig...i feel as soon as rodney harrison retires, that eugene wilson/james sanders will move in to strong safety, and meriweather will come in at free safety. dude appears to be a skinny guy, but he can hit. if the patriots ever experience lack of depth at corner, he can also fill in for that position as well.

check brandon meriweather in the sig...i feel as soon as rodney harrison retires, that eugene wilson/james sanders will move in to strong safety, and meriweather will come in at free safety. dude appears to be a skinny guy, but he can hit. if the patriots ever experience lack of depth at corner, he can also fill in for that position as well.

yeah, he's a good tackler too, his junior year in miami, he had 114 tackles...

yeah, his last year with the gators was a pretty good year. he has crazzzyyyy range...makes plays all over the field.
