The Hills Have Eyes (Thomas Erak from The Fall of Troy)

I listened to the three demo songs on the myspace a few times last night. IMO the stuff is just average at best. But they sound like really rough demos to me. I never even heard of A Kiss Farewell.

The Hills Have Eyes (Thomas Erak from The Fall of Troy)

So I guess Thomas Erak does vocals for another band from Seattle called The Hills Have Eyes. They got three songs up on myspace. From the sounds of it Thomas only sings and doesn't do any of his amazing guitar work. It's pretty cool stuff but not even close to anything from The Fall of Troy...

    Alice In Chains

Really? I like Sap a lot. It's more laid back and not so hard as their other stuff. If you think it has two good tracks then I'd say that's not bad seeing how it only has five songs total lol. They had three EPs...We Die Young, Sap, and Jar of Flies. Sap and Jar of Flies are really easy to...

    Alice In Chains

No the Unplugged is just as common to come across as any of their proper albums (well atleast here in Seattle it is.) I just had to buy it again about two years ago because I lost it camping and I got it used for like $7.99.

    Alice In Chains

Like Oh Coy! said start with Dirt. That is easily the best AIC album IMO. Every song on that CD is a classic as far as I am concerned and it's one of the best rock albums ever made...period. The whole album is very dark and depressing. Most of the songs have to do with Layne Staley's herion...

The Fall of Troy/#12 Looks Like You split CD info (Not confirmed)

It doesn't say anything about it being any different on Equal Visions website. Not even if maybe it was remastered or anything. I agree. As moderator I'll see what can be done about this ASAP. lol

The Fall of Troy/#12 Looks Like You split CD info (Not confirmed)

This all you wrote in The Fall of Troy live songs thread... So I did add some info...unless all split CDs are the bands covering the other bands songs and vice a versa? I wouldn't know because I don't own any splits.

The Fall of Troy/#12 Looks Like You split CD info (Not confirmed)

So I was browsing a different board and a member from Seattle said he chatted with the drummer from #12 and this is what the drummer told him about the split CD...in other words this is all hearsay but I thought I'd post it anways:eek:. Supposedly it will be like this... Three Fall of Troy...

Most random / retarded / weird shit you listen to?

^^^Ummmm what's random/retarded/weird about any of those? I guess they could be random if you don't usually listen to that kind of music. I'm not a big Janes Addiction fan overall but Jane Says is one of my favorite songs ever.

The Blood Brothers - Young Machetes (Oct. 10th)

I have seen them twice live now. Their concerts are fucking crazy (especially here in Seattle seeing this is their homebase.) Just wondering what did you think of them Exxxo?

Gatsbys American Dream- Self Titled.... Review

Well this past weekend I went on a music shopping spree and bought ten albums with this being one of them. I only got a chance to listen to it once all the way through and then go back to a few of my favortie songs yesterday before I went to Endfest (which was great btw even though The Mars...

He Is Legend - I Am Hollywood

My buddy from work schooled me to them awhile back and I just picked this album up about a week ago. It's a great fucking CD that came out in 2004. I'm really feeling this band a lot right now. It's like a mix between good old fashion rock and post hardcore. They call their sound "dirt...

The Blood Brothers - Young Machetes (Oct. 10th)

Oh yeah and what songs are your favorite off the album SiccFucc? My personal fav. song is Lift the Veil, Kiss the Tank. Man is that song is sick as fuck. I also like Laser Life, Huge Gold AK-47, Street Wars/Exotic Foxholes and Spit Shine Your Black Clouds a lot. All the songs are dope though...

The Blood Brothers - Young Machetes (Oct. 10th)

I didn't download it off that site but on my copy most of the songs fade out eventually. Sounds more like snippets of songs. Does that happen on yours too? I think only like 3 songs on the copy I got is more than 2:30 minutes long. If you like this album go get Crimes and ...Burn, Piano...
