Fear Before the March of Flames - The Always Open Mouth

Anyone else pick this up yet? I know atleast one other person on here was a fan of this band but I forget who (Nitro maybe?) Anyways, this album is dope as fuck. It is a lot different then their previous two albums IMO. It seems to have more structure to the songs than on their other...

    the killers - sams town

Damn did you just liken The Killers to Coldplay? I can't stand Coldplay lol. But I know what you meant. I like them (The Killers) because they are kind of like a 80's throwback band. Plus Brandon Flowers has a great voice IMO. Funny enough I still to this day hate their lead single from Hot...

I like The Killers. "When You Were Young" is a great song and I heard one other song and it was dope to. If I remember right the album comes out Oct. 3rd. I'll be swooping it up for sure.

    TV on the Radio (Band)

I know bro...I was just giving you shit. I like how open minded most of the people that post in the Music Industry forum are, you being one of them. I can understand how they (TV on the Radio) might not be someones "cup of tea" though.

    TV on the Radio (Band)

I HIGHLY suggest everyone check out this band from Brooklyn, NY. Their music is so fucking good. They are a "Avant-Garde Indie Rock" band who's music ranges from free jazz, a cappella/doo-wop, psychedelia, trip-hop and electro...sometimes all in one song. I just picked up their new album...

Really there are more songs then? I was kind of let down in Act Appalled like I said but I really like that Miracle Sun song a lot.

New Isis cd "In the Absence of Truth" to be released on Oct. 31st

If you like them you should check out Red Sparowes. It's all instrumental and has memebers of Isis, Neurosis and a few other bands in it. It's great stuff. You should check out some Post-Rock if you haven't...I love the stuff and I think you would too.

You should check them out Psilo I think you would dig them. They are a great band IMO. I like all their stuff and the new song I heard sounds amazing. The other two assholes in this thread disagree with me though lol Just kidding guys.

New Isis cd "In the Absence of Truth" to be released on Oct. 31st

^^^ Hmmmm well that sucks about people saying it's their weakest album to date. I like the new song they got up their myspace a lot. Old Man Gloom is sick too. I like Isis better though. @ Smurf - I heard one song by Windmills by the Ocean and I didn't think it was too bad. It wasn't...

Atmospheric Sludge huh? I think there are too many sub genres for me to keep up with lol. I like them a lot...to each their own I guess.

New Isis cd "In the Absence of Truth" to be released on Oct. 31st

Isis has quickly become one of my favorite bands so I'm really anticipating this new album a lot. I don't know if there are many fans of them on here but I would highly recommend you check them out. Their sound is a mix of post-rock, progressive and post metal for the most part...they are a...

    So I am officially dated.

I just read the whole thing and I found it very interesting. Good read WD. I must be slightly out the norm then (music wise) though. I turn 27 in the next few months and I would say that in the past three years (especially the last year or so) my taste in music has broadened the most ever...

    Redheadphone . . .

Their stuff was pretty dope, good looking out Deadpool. The lead singer kind of reminds me of someone else...I really can't put my finger on who though...maybe a little like Eryka Badhu? I liked that "Ghosts" song a lot. Good looking out once again.

    Nickelback

I can't stand Nickleback...at all. But sadly for how much I really don't like them I do think "Savin' Me" is a great song. Besides that they are crap IMO.
