Queens of the Stone Age to release new album, Era Vulgaris, in June.

I can't wait for this shit. QOTSA has always been one of my favorite bands and they have never let me down with anything they have released. Not much concrete info. is out about the albums yet but some interesting rumors are... There is also rumors that Nick Oliveri might be returning to the...

Chris Cornell quits Audioslave, cross your fingers for RATM getting back together.

Source: http://www.1077theend.com/musicnews.asp Hopefully this has something to do with Rage Against the Machine getting back together. I know it's wishful thinking, but you never know.

Anyone else watch Conan O'Brien last night?

Yeah they were great too, it was short though. Only like four minutes. If I find the video I'll link it of course.

Anyone else watch Conan O'Brien last night?

Explosions In the Sky was on as the musical guest...that kind of tripped me out. Post-rock bands usually don't get much mainstream coverage and the such. I couldn't find the video or anything on youtube so I guess this thread is kind of useless. It just took me suprise to see them on Conan.

    Iron Maiden Discography

Damn I didn't know they were still putting out albums. I thought they stopped in like the mid 1990's. I'm not a fan of them at all but I have to give them credit for still putting out material and being popular for damn near 30 years.

Really? Pearl Jam isn't even near one of my favorite bands but I think Vedder is a great singer/frontman. They put on one hell of a show live too. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

    Orgy anyone?

I still can't get into New Order. I have tried numerous times seeing that Joy Division is one of my favorite bands ever, but I just can't get into them. I do like random songs here and there from them though, Blue Monday being one of them.

Under-rated albums -- What are some albums you think deserve more recognition?

Blind Melon - Soup I truely believe that Blind Melon would have been huge if Shannon Hoon (R.I.P.) hadn't OD'd. This album was put out after his death but was finished before he passed away. Although they will prob. always be known as "the band that has the little fat girl in a bee suit" by...

Mezbrow is like the godfather of the Japanese noise rock scene. I only own Space Metalizer and Door Open At 8AM by him but I like them a lot. I should really check out some more of his stuff. Those albums came out on Alien8 records. Most of their early stuff was noise and experimental music...

Big Business is from Seattle, great band. They are kind of on hold right now because they more or less joined The Melvins. I haven't heard the new one that you got but I like Head for the Shallow a lot. Kyuss is the fucking shit. You really can't go wrong with any of their stuff. I'd say...
