I seem to love all (well most) Joy Divisionesque bands.

Another album that will be somewhere in my top 10 at years end. Talk about a record that damn near sounds like a different band on every song, but yet, every song is fucking awesome. This album is literally all over the place, yet it stills flows together so well. Pygmylush - Bitter River...

I still listen to it damn near everyday. By the way, I like it more then Juturna now.

I highly recommened Bring Me the Horizon, Norma Jean and Suffokate. I Killed the Prom Queen and The Devil Wears Prada could kind of be considered part of the whole "scene" aspect of the metalcore scene, but they make good music IMO.

Haha, you just named some of my favorite bands in the genre. Except for Eternal Elysium, who I've never heard of. But if you are going to name them along with those bands I'll have to check them out. Got a link to any of their stuff?

Some of my faves are... Suffokate Norma Jean Bring Me the Horizon Oh, Sleeper I Killed the Prom Queen The Devil Wears Prada But I agree, I've become pretty unimpressed with alot in the genre as well.

I'd say a very similar "feel" to Interpol yes ,but darker. I don't think they actually sound too much alike though.

I just borrowed their album "Blood Is Bright" from the internet a few days ago on a recommendation from a member on a different board. It's really all I've listened to since. I don't know how you would describe their music. Spacey music with kind of 80's sound vocals. Maybe, like I said...

I'll have to pass. Wasn't feeling it at all. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

There is still quite abit of great Metalcore out there. But just like anything that becomes popular it got watered down by 100's of shitty bands.
