Nah they aren't "punk" at all. They are emo/screamo, but then again all of that is a break off of punk so whatever.
Don't ask me why it says that. I've seen grind bands list themselves as African Big Beat/Comedy/Gospel, so they might just be fucking around too lol.
Here is a demo I've been listening to a lot as of late. The band is from Portugal and makes some great tunes.

Damn, so I've tried upping that Pinback album on both Mediafire and Rapidshare and it gets to the end and just stops. I think something is up with my comp. Sorry RJ.
I love all their stuff personaly. Daryl has a dope ass voice IMO.
I want to hear the studio verion of "You Think You're John Fucking Lennon." I love how the chorus sounds.
Pinback's new one is really good but FAR from their best IMO. Ummm I'll have to find my copy and up it for you. It is a really good album though. You got any of their other stuff?
I like Glassjaw more then most of the ones I listed too, but they aren't even remotely a "real" emo band in any sorts.
Looking forward to the new ablum as well, when it comes out that is.
I like early-mid 1990's emo better then some of the ones that started it. I do like those bands too though.
Native Nod, 1.6 Band, Indian Summer, Heroin, Mohinder, Portraits of Post, etc. Stuff like that.
Yes but you are giving him false info so boooooooo! It's people like you that keep the whole Panic At the Disco, etc are emo bands thing going. Asshole.
I'm totally kidding by the way.
Smallski -- check out On the Might of Princes.
Only musicians I have seen at my job are Ben Gibbard, Dave Matthews, Andre 3000 and James Hetfield. None of them have gotten in fights lol.
Thanks for the Chris Walla album.
In honor of that story my favorite Death Cab album.
