My mom said I have two packages at her house so hopefully one of them is it. I don't live in a secure building so I get all my music sent to her apartment because they sign for it and hold it in the main office.
Here is a album i've been listening to the past couple days that really fits these sunny yet cold Seattle days we have had as of late. The band is from So. Cal but all the members now reside in Seattle. It's a mix of indie/dream pop/shoegaze/ambient I'd say. Really good stuff with female...
^^^ That was a dope ass video (song was cool too.) I don't know if I'd call that post rock though. Just because something is instrumental doesn't mean it's post rock. Post rock is becoming a pretty fucking broad term these days too though so whatever lol.
What kind of music?
@ Imonone - It's all good though, people like what they like and that's cool. Come post up in the Music Industry forum sometime and maybe we can introduce you to some more bands you will like.
Plus curb you from A7X lol, just fucking with you.
Hmmm could be but I download so much shit I dont remember all the names. Thanks either way.
*edit*
Just checked my external and they are on there already lol. Thanks though.
If you want to hear some out there type of music (which Modest Mouse does sometimes) check out Man Man, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Animal Collective, O'Death, Panda Bear, Murder By Death.
Who the fuck is Small Leaks Sink Ships? Never heard of them, link it RJ or you're a bitch.
I back all of RJ's recommendations except for Cold War Kids (meh) and Small Leaks Sink Ships (but just because I haven't heard them.)
I've heard every band you listed music except for 40 Below Summer, never even heard of them. I'll just say I agree with you on Deftones being worth checking out.
Modest Mouse is pretty much in their own genre. That's the problem with really good distinct sounding bands, you want more of the same but there really isn't because that's what seperates them from the rest of the pack.
If I can think of anything semi-related I'll post it up.
Maybe try Minus...
I'm going to keep my opinions to myself regarding bands mentioned in this thread lol.
I like Clutch and Deftones though, check those two out of the ones people named.
