The person who told me to check them out described them as "The Fall of Troy meets real screamo." I don't know if I'd say all that but I dug what I heard...so here.

RJ are you going to their show on August 7th in Chi? It's them, Portugal. The Man, and RX Bandits. Sounds like it will be a...
Yeah for sure on that statement. I'd say more like top 20 or so for me but I now like it more then Juturna.
RJ - Is that a Sound of Animals Fighting pic in your sig?
That new Circa Survive b-side is fucking awesome. I like it a lot better then 1,000 Witnesses, that's a good song too though.
Thanks for those RJ. I just donated $5.00 to that record store too. If indie stores close all we will be left with is Best Buys and Wal-Marts. Fuck all that.
Plus...
Yeah, I gave it a listen to last night and it's pretty good.
Have you ever checked any Get Up Kids stuff? If not you should go back and download those albums. I think you will dig them.
^^^ I've posted The Get Up Kids albums in here I'm pretty sure.
That's Matt's old band, great stuff. More along the lines of "indie emo" then "folk pop" though. His stuff with The New Amsterdams is good too. I haven't heard his solo work yet though so thanks for the link.
Only people bent on world domination could have made these.
Throw on some cheese and your choice of hot sauce and you are set.
Gotta put them in the oven though, fuck a microwave.
Envy is post-rock/post-hardcore/screamo awesomeness from Japan. Track down all their stuff, it's great in my opinion and they have a ton of work out there.
