Waaay ahead of you Cory. I Dl'd about 11 GB's from Sordo when they had the archive up...only kep about 5 GBs but it was all good shit. You should check out Black Mountains if you havent already. Also a band called Toe.....good stuff.

Iron Maiden is always good. Godsmack is pretty heavy metal. He MAY like Cold. I would check out some Metalcore too...some of it is farily close to thrash/metal...is just depends on the vocals.

Stabbing The drama is their second to last album...came out in 2005 and is my fav Soilwork album to date.

Soilwork is good BEFORE the last album...it has some nu-metal influence on it.

^^^Both good bands. Fear Factory is somewhat hit or miss, and Machine Head has gotten better over time. The Blackening was a dope album.
