While I feel what you're getting at for sure I think a lot of it has to do with falling wages and an economy where most families have to have two bread winners. If my girl made more than me and we could afford it I would stay home with my son and let her bring home money.

Claire's a badass name. @DFDoom I wanted to name my son Claire if he was a girl that is. Although most of my names got shot down.

I only know two Claire's and call them both Claire bear and they hate it.
