If I have a motif(classic) how can i connect a motif xs rack and a fantom xr using midi and using the motif as the sequencer?

I was at the guitar center today.... and played with the machine for about an hour....... I really liked it...... I never used a fantom but the sounds sounded nice considering im using the clasic motif...... thought id share....
