    Mad Season?

Has anyone heard the album reaeased by these guys? I've been interested in hearing it for years mostly because of Layne Staley (my favorite vocalist) but I've never come across it. To those who have heard it, what do you think?

    Who listens to Dub??

It's basically instrumental reggae. Back in the day, reggae tapes usually came with a dub version of the tracks. I'm kinda busy with school this week (1st week), but here's my favorite dub track of all time by Scratch Perry and the Upsetters called "Dread Lion". I'll post more when I have time...

    Baraka

This is the dopest movie ever. There's no dialogue, only music and footage of people and places all around the world. I find it so amazing how diverse humans are. I could watch this over and over again. Everybody should see this movie, it really opens your eyes to the diversity of cultures...

    Who listens to Dub??

Folks like Lee "scratch" Perry, The Royals, etc? My uncle has a huge collection of rare dub and he burned me a whole bunch last week. There's an album I got by a cat named Prince Jammy called "Umoja/20th Century Debwise" that is sick all the way through. So who else likes Dub?

    Metallica "Load"

I feel you 100% on that. NOTHING can fuck with master of puppets. buI i still think justice was good all the way through, just not AS good as the first 3. one of the reasons i like metallica so much is that in my opinion they didn't have one bad song until the black album.

    Live 8

I wouldn't doubt that now, but the original concert 20 or so years ago raised a couple million dollars and was a huge success. People are so superficial these days, though that I bet most of these artists could give two shits about starving kids.

What are good "Break Up" songs?

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond part 1 Alice in Chains - Down in a Hole Alice in Chains - Rotten Apple Black Sabbath - Changes Soundgraden - Like Suicide If you like reggae, I'd put on anything by Toots and the Maytals or "rastaman Vibration" (the album) by Bob Marley & the Wailers...

    Props To GI

I have been disappointed, to say the least, with the entire rap scene in the last five years, but the ONLY group/artist (besides Frontline) that has consistently impressed me is Game Insane. And for that I commend you guys. Beats, lyrics, and MOOD are always on point on a GI track. Keep doing...

    Metallica "Load"

One more thing: can someone tell me exactly what a rock producer does? Because it seems ever since Bob Rock came along (Black Album), Metallica's music went downhill and I am very tempted to blame him.

    Metallica "Load"

Don't get me wrong, nothing compares to Metallica's first four albums, I'm just saying that as an album (not necessarily a metal album), Load is better IMO than 99% of the music since then. For instance, I heard a Linkin Park album a couple of months ago and it was one of the biggest pieces of...

    E-DAWG SINGLE FEAT, RAZZ B OF B2K

I'm not hating. If I wrote, "It's always the best artists who advertise here" would I be dickriding? My point is that this is not the place to advertise your music, it's predominantly a place to discuss music other than rap.

    Metallica "Load"

Does anyone else here think that this is an excellent album? Everytime I hear anything about this album, it's something negative. I think it's an exhibition of Metallica's talent and versatility (especially Kirk Hammett). I will say I don't care much for most of the lyrics/vocals, but musically...
