Rivendell - Farewell: The Last Dawn Epic folk metal. All the lyrics are taken from Lord of the Rings poems. Probably my favorite folk metal band. My internet is fucking up and won't keep a connection long enough for me to upload myself, but here's a link...

Alestorm - Nancy the Tavern Wench http://www.mediafire.com/?di4ggifrx9h I don't think it's this forum's type of music, but it's a fun song nonetheless.

i know you guys arent ones for metal but...

I'd recommend their last two albums, especially Farsotstider, which is WAY darker than anything they've ever released and Thomas' vocals are meaner and more aggressive than ever. Everything is just ridiculously heavy and it kicks ass from front to back. I don't know about the whole clean vocals...

i know you guys arent ones for metal but...

haha Finntroll rules. They're actually the band that got me into folk/viking metal. Their keyboardist is founder/guitarist/keyboardist/accordion/flute/whistle/harmonium/other weird instrument player of Moonsorrow. I really like Finntroll's last album, but I think Nattfod is my favorite. Do you...

i know you guys arent ones for metal but...

You might like Korpiklaani if you like Eluveite. They've got accordions, flutes, fiddles, whistles, and all that good stuff. It's more fun, "let's get drunk" music than Eluveite though. And if you want something kind of folky but very metal, check out "Verisakeet" by Moonsorrow. Korpiklaani...

    It's "Supergroup" time, kids!!!!!

Drums: Igor Cavalera (ex-Sepultura) Rhythm Guitars/Vocals: Mille Petrozza (Kreator) Bass/Vocals: Ville Sorvali (Moonsorrow) Lead Guitars: Lee Altus (Heathen, Exodus) I guess it would be thrash, but I think it would be dope if they played more blackened thrash.
