    Phonk Beta productions

I'm looking for some albums predominantly produced by Phonk Beta. He didn't have to have done every song, but at least a large portion of them. Whether I "should" know about the album (i.e. Loaded) or not, help me out. Thanks.

    Decembrists?

Anybody like them? It's pretty much the only band besides Modest Mouse I hear my homie listen to and I've been liking them more and more. He just burned me the album "Castaways and Cutouts" and it's pretty decent. I think they have very interesting, playful lyrics. Any fans or opinions?

    Baseball Question (Perfect Games)

My homie asked me this question the other day, and I didn't have an answer. Say a pitcher has got the first 26 batters out and he has two strikes on the last one. If he strikes him out, but the catcher drops the ball and the batter makes it to first, is it a perfect game still? Doesn't it count...

    Battle of Algiers

This is an amazing film and I highly suggest everyone here check it out. I just saw it last night for the first time. For those who don't know, it's about the Algerian fight for independence from France in the 1950's in a sort of mock-documentary style film. It deals with the rise of the FLN and...

    Fossils and Mythology

    Katatonia

So I found a site supposedly with all of Katatonia's albums and since The Great Cold Distance is the only one of their albums I've heard (thanks smurf), I'd like to get something else by them. I have a feeling that TGCD is more commercial than their other stuff.

I found this site last night by chance which has full albums from a good deal of artists, mostly from black metal genres. Anybody hear the new Moonsorrow?

It's scheduled to come out in January, but it's an awesome album! Only two tracks (30 minutes and 26 minutes), so it takes a few listens to get used to it, but once you "understand" it, the album is very good. They certainly take their time on the tracks..it takes about 6 minutes before the...
