It's from Nemesis Divina. It's their most popular song and my favorite from them. I believe there's a music video of it, too, and it makes no sense.
I'll upload the album for you.
I would say Metallica with Cliff Burton because he probably would have never let Bob Rock produce their albums and they might still make kick ass thrash. Or at least they would have made thrash into the 90's.
I fucking hate Bob Rock.
Either that, or AIC with Layne. The new album is totally...
Pink Floyd - Return of the Sons of Nothing

1. One of these Days
2. Careful With that Axe, Eugene
3. Looking Through the Knotholes in Granny's Wooden Leg (aka Echoes)
All the songs are very long, and this is probably one of the most trippy and best PF...
Gorgoroth - Pentagram

Once you get used to the high-pitched vocals (even for black metal), it's an amazing album.
Necromandus - Necrothology

Band from the early 70's. It's kinda like a psychedelic version of Black Sabbath. They only released one album and this is a best-of/selections type of album. I'd upload their actual album but this one has my favorite song of...
Pink Floyd - The Early Singles
1. Arnold Layne
2. Candy and a Currant Bun
3. See Emily Play
4. The Scarecrow
5. Apples and Oranges
6. Paintbox
7. It Would Be So Nice
8. Julia Dream
9. Point Me at the Sky
10. Careful with That Axe, Eugene...
This isn't something you can just shrug off. This is important. It requires action. It requires influential people who don't listen to shitty music.
I'd be OK with upper MGMT firing these folks.
I agree. I only listened to this one once, but A Looking in View does have that more desperate AIC sound to it. I said the new Ahab would be the best album this year, but I think AIC will take the cake.
Blakagir - Nostalgia
This is a side project of the only member of the Polish symphonic black metal band Hellveto. There is no metal (or instruments besides a keyboard), it is just a dark keyboard symphony. I listen to music because I want it to take me somewhere, music is essentially my...
Without write-ups this thread kind of loses its impact. Explanations will also keep us from making huge lists and turning this into a pointless thread.
I'll post something up soon.
