As far as Chapelle, the new specials are different from one another. Equanimity was better--obviously a more concentrated effort. I was entertained
I didn't even know Half dead put out an album in 2012
sounds kinda dope.
The album cover was strange though, and Im guessing it helped spark this rumor...
Then this came out last month....
In any event Half Dead is pretty Dope and has to be the most underrated Long Beach Rapper.
I’ve heard this phrase lately to describe good music, I’m not sure I get it though.
Does a dope beat make replay value? Dense lyrics? Heavy concepts? Broad subject matter?
Can music be good and NOT have replay value?
I know, There’s two vastly (I’d say) different Tupac’s on these projects, different production quality, and recording/arrangement circumstances.
If you haven’t listened to 2pac in awhile maybe put on R U Still Down and tell me song for song how it measures up.
I don’t have anything good to say about this movie, feeling bitter about it honestly—but here’s a thread if any of you do enjoy it and can make me come around.
