whatz the difference between 16-bit recording and 24-bit recording. i plan on buying a 16 track digital recorder around May, so i wanna know which is better. and if i did buy one with 16-bit recording, then would my quality be poor ? Please Help Me Out Yall

this is my first cd cover. i did it at my school in photoshop, it took a couple of days. it is for a final grade. the fill of the text is susposed to be white, but for some reason it came out greyish, and wme and my graphic design teacher are still workin on it. anywayz give me your feed back...
