Yeah I agree with you, I think Q and Rocky could release a dope 7-8 song EP filled with back-and-forth rap. I also feel the same for the combo of Q and Ab-Soul, I think they have similar complimentary styles and work well off one another.
All of them perform well in smaller (indoor) venues. Q is the only one I've seen really control a large outdoor crowd. I'm excited for Paid Dues this year...I hope that they do something special (or at least different than RTB) for that show. Anyone else going?
yeah I agree. They're letting it work as naturally as possible. I was/am surprise Swimming Pools has gotten as big/lasted as long as it has. Poetic Justice is a no brainer and that is already getting a lot of radio play, there's no rush to drop a video for a song that's such an undeniable hit...
I was at that show too. Granted I've seen A$AP and Black Hippy 5 times in the last couple months (working with Rock The Bells really upped that count), but A$AP really should work on their live show. Kendrick kills it as always, but Q really is the best performer out the group. I wish Soulo...
great album, sounds clean in the car. Loving the whole thing, but right now What You Mean and Pull Up are my favorite. That's bound to change daily though.
I know damn well there's not going to be any bitches at that show, it's going to be a bunch of 16-18 year old dudes...also not my thing. I go to a concert to see an artist I like perform, not to holler at the 3 girls in attendance who got dragged there by their boyfriend.
that show was so dope. First time getting to see Kendrick live and it held up to all my expectations. The only thing that could've made it better was if the rest of TDE was there...but that's for another time I guess.
Now I'm seriously considering going to the wiz show on 4/20 just to see...
