They had to cut somebody to keep Damion Lee and Ky Bowman since their two way contracts are almost up. Chriss was the only non guaranteed contract on the roster they could have used to clear cap space. Sucks cause he deserves to be on the team more than other people, but unfortunately NBA teams have to be creative with different types of contracts.

Lee is now signed, Bowman is gonna be up like next week, Dubs are gonna have to get creative again.
