That ball should have been thrown low, no question. I honestly believe Russ didnt feel Butler could make that play. And it was a heckuva play, make no mistake.
the ball should not have been thrown AT ALL!!

they had it first and goal after the CATCH OF THE YEAR!!!!----ok first goal, lynch runs to the left and gets to the 1 yard line!!! the 1!! he's had over 100 yards and a td up to this point. even if he runs it just ONE more time, odds are he's going to get you that yard!!! for the super bowl?-you take that one chance! that one down!!

I don't think anyone's debating it shouldn't have been a run, we all agree we wanted Lynch.

The logic of passing on that down isn't completely crazy though because the Seahawks still had their receivers set in and the Pats already sent in their goal line guys, so their thinking was ok we got a mismatch here let's take advantage of it. So it's not insane logic. The insane part is the play they called. If you're going to pass, do something safe, like I mentioned before roll Russell out and give him the option to find a guy in the back of the endzone near the sideline, run or just throw it away. Not a quick underneath slant into traffic, that's just ridiculous. Even if Butler doesn't make that play the pass has to be a bullet, it could bounce of Lockettes hands and go up in the air, a lineman could get his hand up and tip it, etc. Just too many bad things can happen with a play like that.

It was more of a good play by the young corner than it was a bad call, but still man Lynch has to get the ball there with a timeout in your pocket.

Hawks fans can't be too mad, as it was this kind of aggressive playcalling from Carrol that got you here to begin with.
I'm not mad. Carroll is the one that completely rebuilt this team and brought the hawks to back to back superbowls.

It really is a game of inches. Green Bay, that guy makes the catch on the inside kick game over, Packers go to the superbowl. Dez Bryant, the catch or non catch whichever side of the fence you're on, he tucks that ball in sooner Cowboys win. The Ravens, up by 14 two different times against the Pats, if Owen makes the catch in the endzone on 3rd down they probably win, instead settle for three. Flacco on the final drive to win the game, he doesn't make that last throw that was picked, the drive is still alive they could have won. The Lions, pass interference, no pass interference, that's game. Seahawks, Cowboys, Ravens, Green Bay, and Lions all ONE play away from winning. That's football. A game of inches.

Off the Grid
Dude had 14 rushes for 40 yards, 2.86 yards a carry. He's acting like he was a factor. What an idiot.
That's the first thing I thought when I saw this. He's not even half the running back Lynch is. Blount acted like a straight bitch in Pittsburgh because Le'Veon Bell was getting almost all the carries. I am sure you guys know the rest.

Did anyone see when Tomlin sidelined him for the Steelers vs. Titans game? It ended up being his last game with Pittsburgh, but he got a cheap shot in on Haley from behind. His feelings were hurt because they quit giving him touches due to his poor attitude. Lmao, that dirty motherfucker!
