Read the Michigan firearms laws (Act 372 of 1927)
It states:
A person shall not purchase, carry, or transport a pistol in this state without first having obtained a license for the pistol as prescribed in this section
The person is a citizen of the United States and is a legal resident of this state

have your wife buy you a gun, skip the CCW, & keep it for home protection & range shooting.
good luck breh, like i said i aint trying to rain on anyones parade, but id hate for you to get your hopes high for a ccw & catch the letdown after the fact, ya know.
