History in sports means nothing. You know what else never happened before in history? A 7-9 team make the playoffs AND beat the defending Superbowl champs in the first round. Yet it happened. History has shown that the Seahawks NEVER went 11-1 before yet here they are at 11-1. History has shown the Seahawks have NEVER won a game trailing by 20 points yet they did this year. The NFL is full of firsts.
