The Governor being back is incredibly obvious, and easily foreshadowed at the end of last season.

Is it really that big of a surprise? The character didn't die on or off screen. lol

C'mon. This show's transparency is astounding sometimes.

Too much fucking talking. I love the show, but seriously, how many conversations about how hard the apocalypse is can we have per episode?

At some point, I'd grow to accept the fact that nothing is the same anymore, and now it's time to kill.

I was thinking Carol might have been covering for someone else possibly Carl. That kid is a baby Governor in training.

I think it was pretty obvious from jump that the Governor is the one responsible for the influx of zombies at the prison since the beginning of the season. I wonder what happened to Gonzales and the other black dude who were his main soldiers? They were both still alive at the end of the last season. I'm glad hes back, shit is about to get more interesting on the show.

Anybody else notice that somethin bad was gonna happen again at that moment with the fence? Everytime rick and carl have a little silent moment of peace together something bad happens

And i like how the zombies r strong enough to bite chunks out of people and rip peoples guts out barehanded...but that zombie was polite enough to reframe from biting right through the tube, and went easy in the wrestling match with a senior citizen with one leg, that was very thoughtful of him

I hope they do a segment next week showing what the Governor has been up to over the last couple of months. The preview led me to believe that this will be a Gov heavy episode.

Well i guess there was a whole book made about the governors story, so im thinkin they probaly gonna let us know what hes been doing within the next few episodes... They might keep us waiting a lil while tho cuz that would reveal how big of a threat he is, and after last episode being so crazy i have a feeling its time for a dull episode

But i hope they keep the action going, i would think that the people that make the show would know by now that thats the main complaint people have about the show

There's going to be a "new" character that's been in the prison since the end of last season that's feeding the rats.

He/She's probably got some blind loyalty to The Governor and has been slowly destroying the ranks within the prison.

If that's not it, then it's probably Bob. He's an odd character that has thusfar not reached a single bit of his character arc, despite the slow work being put into him through the script.

who the hell is bob?? lol

i hope the governor chases them out of that prison soon. that prison is freakin depressing as hell. and screw a whole episode dedicated to herschell. i thought he already got over his whole faith bullshit and dealing with killing people bullshit, guess not. hopefully this means he dies and leaves the show. its unnatural for an old gimped creature to live so long and outlive its usefulness and ability to support itself. he needs to take a hike and quit breathing up so much air

oh ok, bob = d'angelo barksdale

Bob was the local town drunk of Woodbury. Forty years prior to the series, he was supposedly an army medic. He is seen briefly outside The Governor's house where the Governor expresses concern that Bob isn't eating enough and tells him to get some food. Bob's minor role expands significantly when he saves the Governor's life. He was called upon by Gabe and Bruce to save the Governor when Alice and Dr. Stevens, the only town medics have fled and Michonne almost tortures the Governor to death. After a slow recovery, the Governor personally asked him to watch over his zombie daughter until the Woodbury army returned from killing the prison survivors.

every time they go into a quiet situation and start walking around theres a zombie...that shit is so obvious.and whats up with all these half eaten zombies or zombies that have plants growing on them and shit, lol... and what ever happened to the zombie in the potato sack that the dirty bitch was tryna kill rick and feed to? is dude still in the potato sack rustling around?

the governor was a wack character to me i hope he gets shot in his other eye. aint that the hick dudes brother? or am i mixing up characters? i mean i guess they dont know ole eye patch is over there hating... hes prolly made the fences weaker purposely , prolly did put the rats

i think someones gonna get mad at rick or carol and switch sides or do some disloyal shit IMO

i was wondering abt the part where rick feeds his son a pea from the shit they grew, im like wondering if the plants are bad, like what exactly is causing the infection, i wish they gave us a little more hints on the shit unless theyre running with this 'whats causing the infection?" mystery till late in the game..i see no harm in letting us know now they been teasin us w the shit forever

sometimes i wish i could just go ahead w the walking dead and not wait til sunday, shit is annoying thats the only thing i wait for on sundays now besides eastbound and down and thats just kinda

i just always referred to bob as 'black dude' and then 'small black dude' when we had to figure it out between the two black men in the show lol

he was so serious about that bottle of liquor that one episode lol, lets you know alcoholism is a addiction that has to be fought troughout your lifetime not just at one specific time in life then its done

i just always thought d'angelo from the wire

with the infection... hmm.. probably just something that will never be explained. like that helicopter in season 1. or like that dude and his son and rick and the radio, we'll wait like 3 years to find out the zombie virus mutated into being airborne, but airborne viruses die way faster so it was just a temporary thing or something. or maybe the governor has been shitting in their water supply and putting corpses in it lol

well the governor was just a drunk with delusions of granduer that rose to dictator status during the plague. maybe d'angelo was his drinking buddy. maybe he got that liquor for the governor cause the governor is extorting him somehow and he cared so bad cause something bad would happen if he didnt bring it back lol

who the hell knows. if i throw out a few thousand theories one is bound to be right

wouldn't be a good show if it didn't have someone that you didn't like lol
Its not the charachter i dont like its the actor

They picked the most average plain white guy they could find to play the evil mastermind in a zombie apoccalypse. I get that he woulda had to been kinda square to get people on his side like that, but that actor is just lame

And gas i think ur thinkin of murell, was govs helper for a while the older hick dude with one arm whos lil bro is daryll, crossbow dude
